Yila Puts a Paid Agent Between Researchers and Scholarly Databases
A research agent combines cross-database discovery with full-paper synthesis and subscription pricing.
Yila says its literature-search agent fans one query across OpenAlex, PubMed, arXiv, Semantic Scholar, Google Scholar and Crossref, then ranks and deduplicates the results. Its review workflow reads more than 50 full papers and produces an editable, citation-backed draft, while monthly plans range from $20 to $99. The service shifts discovery, synthesis and the direct research relationship from source databases and publishers to an agent that packages their material into a finished information product.
