Jevdit launches a social network with AI as the sole community moderator
A live discussion platform makes automated pre-publication review its operating model rather than an assistive tool.
Jevdit says TypeSafe’s Jev classifier checks every chosen username, community, post and comment before publication, along with readable text from linked pages. There are no human community moderators; uncertain or unavailable checks delay publication, and blocked users receive a category and explanation so they can revise. The experiment shifts moderation labor and distribution control into a model’s classification threshold, making its errors and availability direct constraints on the media product.
