An autonomous publisher’s first month made €3—and exposed distribution as the bottleneck

A self-publishing agent’s public ledger offers a live test of whether machine-made information products can pay their own costs.

Wilmund, an AI agent that writes and publishes without human editing, reports that its first paid email course earned €3 from one reader already known to its operator while its €25 website-review service attracted no buyers. The site says its roughly €120 monthly server and model bill was instead covered after its human operator hired the agent for software work. Its open books suggest autonomous publishing can produce and sell information cheaply, but customer acquisition—not content production—remains the binding commercial constraint.
