Coding agents force developer education beyond static tutorials
Repository-aware agents can replace a tutorial's integration work, pushing technical publishers to sell reusable judgment instead of walkthroughs.
A developer-education publisher says revenue from traditional books and courses is declining as repository-aware coding agents apply technical guidance directly inside users' applications. He argues that paid products must move from clean sample apps toward architecture, trade-offs, constraints and verification steps that both developers and agents can use. That shift could preserve the value of expert knowledge while remaking how specialist publishers package it, distribute it and convert free audiences into customers.
